1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant / Support Staff Opportunities – Buckingham

Supply Desk, in partnership with Buckinghamshire Council, is currently seeking passionate and committed 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistants to support pupils in schools across Buckingham and neighbouring communities. About the Role

We are looking for compassionate and motivated professionals eager to make a positive impact on young people’s lives. In this role, you will work one-to-one with pupils who require additional support due to special educational needs, assisting them to engage with learning and build confidence.

You may support pupils with needs including, but not limited to:

• Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
• Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
• Dyslexia
• Learning difficulties
• Social, emotional and behavioural challenges

Whether you are experienced in supporting children with SEN or seeking to begin your career in education, our consultants will collaborate with you to find placements in schools within Buckingham and nearby areas that match your skills and availability.

Requirements

• Experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential)
• Understanding of Special Educational Needs and inclusive support strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to encourage positive behaviour and engagement in learning
• Patience, empathy and a supportive attitude
• Flexibility to work across various school settings in Buckingham
