Teaching Personnel are seeking dedicated, compassionate ALN Teaching Assistants to support learners across a variety of Additional Learning Needs (ALN) provisions in Swansea and Carmarthenshire.

This flexible supply role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about supporting young people and want variety in their work while making a meaningful impact .

You will be supporting learners with a wide range of needs, including:

• Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
• ⚡ ADHD
• Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH)
• ♿ Physical disabilities
• Complex and multiple learning needs

Placements may include specialist ALN schools, PRUs, alternative provisions, and community-based settings ‍♂️️.

As an ALN Teaching Assistant, your role will include:

• Providing 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual learners
• Supporting individualised learning and adapting activities to meet needs
• Implementing and reviewing Individual Development Plans (IDPs)
• Helping learners to develop independence, confidence, and life skills
• Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
• Assisting with personal care and mobility, where required
• Taking learners into the community to support life skills and engagement
• Working collaboratively with teachers, ALNCOs, therapists, and external professionals
