Teaching Personnel are seeking individuals to work on a full and part-time basis to work within the additional needs classes across secondary schools in Caerphilly. We are looking for Support Assistants who have experience with learning difficulties and people passionate about supporting mental and emotional health.

Details of the role:

  • Full, part time or adhoc work available.
  • £12.90-£14 per hour dependant on experience.
  • School hours – 08:15am-15:30pm.
  • Term time only.
  • Working with additional needs department of secondary schools.
  • All schools based in Caerphilly area.

About you:

  • Caring, kind and compassionate.
  • Able to act on initiative.
  • Professional or personal experience with additional needs.
  • An understanding of Autism – verbal and non-verbal.
  • Willingness to learn and get involved within schools.
  • Passionate about supporting pupils with their life skills.

There is a vetting process to work within schools that require a fully enhanced DBS and registration onto the EWC. Teaching Personnel offer a personal Consultant to guide you through your vetting and placement process.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
