Exciting Opportunity: Behaviour Mentor
Are you passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of young people? Do you have experience in managing challenging behaviour and supporting students to reach their full potential? If so, we have an excellent opportunity for you to join our team as a Behaviour Mentor at an Ofsted good secondary school in Bramhall.
Role Overview:
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a crucial role in providing targeted support and guidance to students who may require additional assistance in managing their behaviour and emotions. Your responsibilities will include:
Behaviour Management: Implementing strategies and interventions to support students in managing and regulating their behaviour, both in and out of the classroom environment.
Individualised Support: Providing one-to-one mentoring and support sessions for students identified as needing additional behavioural support, helping them to develop self-awareness, resilience, and coping strategies.
Conflict Resolution: Assisting students in resolving conflicts and managing challenging situations, promoting positive communication and conflict resolution skills.
Collaboration: Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff to develop and implement individual behaviour plans and interventions tailored to the specific needs of students.
Monitoring and Progress Tracking: Regularly monitoring and tracking the progress of students receiving behaviour support, evaluating the effectiveness of interventions, and making adjustments as necessary to ensure positive outcomes.
Building Relationships: Building positive and trusting relationships with students, fostering a supportive and inclusive school environment where all students feel valued and respected.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
