Behaviour Support Assistant Position in Garston (L19)

An exciting opportunity awaits at a well-regarded primary school in Garston (L19). The school is seeking a dedicated Specialist Support Assistant to join their KS1 department from April Initially. The position will be temporary, but based on a successful probation period, the Head Teacher intends to offer a permanent contract in the upcoming academic year.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will play a vital part in assisting children who are facing behavioural and emotional challenges after their return to full-time education. Working closely with the students on a one-to-one or small group basis, your objective will be to help them reintegrate smoothly into the school and classroom environment. Collaboration with the Class Teacher, school SENCo, and parents will be essential to identify and implement effective strategies tailored to each individual child's needs.
