Behaviour Support Assistant needed ASAP.

Pay - £80 to £110 per day

Start - ASAP.

We are seeking to appoint a passionate and dedicated ASD/ADHD Behaviour Support Assistant in our Special Educational Needs faculty.   The focus of this role is to carry out a range of duties which support and assist with the education, supervision and welfare of students and to limit barriers to learning. The post holder will provide individual or small group support tailored to the individual needs of students with ASC/ADHD, will have excellent communication skills and work well within a small team. Visits are warmly welcomed.

The successful candidate will:

●       Have English and Maths GCSE or equivalent

●       Possess a desire to make a difference to students’ learning, with particular focus on students with SEN

●      Have a calm and nurturing approach with a genuine caring nature

●       Assist the class teacher in implementing strategies and interventions

●      Have a willingness to help support teaching staff and colleagues

●      Demonstrate a good standard of IT skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
