Are you looking for a career in Education? Have a passion to support vulnerable children in Education?

 

Teaching Personnel, in partnership with a specialist school based in the Bridgend area are looking to hire a behaviour support assistant to join their team. This particular provision provides education, care and therapy for children aged 3-19 who have complex learning needs such as, Autism, physical disabilities, severe and complex learning disabilities, and challenging behaviour.

 

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be a role model for the pupils, upholding the schools 4 values inside and outside of the classroom.
  • Provide 1:1 and group support to students to help manage their behaviour and emotions effectively, in a safe and secure environment.
  • Assist with the creation of lesson plans, ensuring that the classes are accessible for all pupils.
  • Be able to support the students inside and outside of the classroom, which may include personal care.
