⭐Join us as a Behaviour Support Assistant this academic year!⭐
Kick-start the new academic year as a Behaviour Support Mentor in one of our welcoming secondary schools across Newport!
As a Behaviour Support Mentor, you will:
✅ Support pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN)
✅ Provide 1:1 and small group interventions
✅ Help students regulate emotions and develop positive behaviours
✅ Build confidence, resilience, and engagement with learning
✅ Work closely with teaching staff to support pupil progress
There may also be opportunities to support or cover pre-planned lessons during staff absence, ideal for those looking to progress into teaching, take on more responsibility or even boost confidence. This offers valuable experience in classroom management, behaviour support, and leading learning, helping to build confidence and develop key leadership skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
