Teaching Personnel are working with a specialist school located in Penarth, just 4 miles outside of Cardiff City centre. To be successful you will need to be able to build a good rapport with pupil’s aged between 3 and 19 with Special Educational Needs (SEN) who may also display challenging behaviours.

This role is available after May half term and required until the end of the academic year with the opportunity to be extended ahead of September 2024.

 

The role:

  • Supporting classroom teachers in planning, delivering, and assessing high-quality teaching and learning activities that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Liaise with family members, care assistants and other educators to ensure the needs of each pupil is met.
  • Support the teacher in behaviour management and keeping pupils on task based on the expectations for individual pupils.

The vetting process:

  • Enhanced DBS.
  • Register with education work force council.
  • Provide two previous employment references.
  • Complete safeguarding level 2

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
