About the Role: As a Complex Needs Worker, you'll play a crucial role in providing specialised care and support to children aged 7-16 with complex needs. You'll work closely with children to help them develop life skills, manage behaviors, and thrive in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing one-on-one support and supervision to children with complex needs in various settings, including residential homes and educational environments.
  • Assisting children with daily activities, including personal care, meal times, and recreational activities.
  • Implementing individualised care plans and behavior management strategies tailored to each child's needs.
  • Building positive relationships with children and their families, fostering a sense of trust and security.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with complex needs, including those with autism, learning disabilities, and behavioral challenges, is desirable but not essential.
  • Compassion, patience, and empathy for children with diverse needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of children.
