We have a highly sought after school and team looking to fill an LSA gap immediately or as soon as possible. They work in a setting a stone's throw from the heart of Wokingham's quaint market town. The deputy head has approached me about a new opening they will have for a full-time LSA this term, due to a successful secondment and promotion for their staff. Although this role may only be temporary for the term, 90% of our staff get hired directly with this setting if successful and looking for a job.
This school is overseen by the charity Barnardo's and has historically always been respected for it's contribution to the local community of learners, who require a more flexible and holistic approach to education. It is their ethos that sets them apart from other schools, the belief that each child has their own unique talents and gifts to bring to the world, regardless of where their journey has been so far.
The school need a bright and pro-active LSA to join them in either KS2, KS3 or KS4 as many of their staff float between classes depending on where most need is on a weekly basis. Their learners face challenges with SEMH in many different forms and so genuine connection and engagement is key to helping them thrive! The most successful LSA's have proven to be highly motivated by rewarding relationships and positive outcomes, no matter how small.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
