About Us: Teaching Personnel are working with an excellent school that is dedicated to providing a supportive and stimulating environment for male students with SEMH needs. We believe in the transformative power of creativity and aim to inspire our students through engaging graphic design and art programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the learning and development of male students with SEMH needs through graphic design and art activities.
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of creative lessons and projects, tailored to individual student needs and abilities.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging students to express themselves through art.
  • Manage challenging behaviour with resilience and authority, while maintaining a nurturing and supportive approach.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other staff to create a holistic educational experience for students.
  • Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their potential.

Requirements:

  • A passion for graphic design, art, and creativity.
  • Experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs is highly desirable.
  • Resilient, authoritative, yet nurturing personality.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Relevant qualifications in graphic design, art, or a related field are advantageous.
  • Ability to adapt to the individual needs of each pupil.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
