Teaching Personnel are currently looking for a passionate Teaching Assistant to work within a SEMH school in South Shields, starting ASAP. The school is looking for someone to support students with Social and Emotional Mental Health difficulties, and behaviours that challenge. 

The successful candidates will:

• Have experience of working with children with SEN, particularly Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH)
• The ability to use initiative and work well under pressure
• The ability to communicate effectively with the children and other staff members
• Assist students in their learning both on a 1-1 and group basis
• Be a confident, sporty, outgoing, and personable individual with a passion for helping people
• Be confident dealing with behaviours that challenge
