One of our partnership SEMH Schools in Cheadle are looking for Learning Support Assistants to join their team!

The school has fantastic facilities and supports secondary aged children with a variety of additional needs including:

  • Autism
  • Challenging behavior
  • Mental health needs including anxiety and depression
  • Disengagement from Education

In this role you will:

  • Help to support children with challenging behavior and help them to achieve their Learning goals.
  • Support in the delivery of lessons and activities set by the class teacher
  • Support in the assessment of children’s learning and follow individual learning plans
  • And much more!

The ideal Learning Support Assistant will have:

  • Experience working with children with SEMH in a school/youth work setting
  • A kind and caring manner and a genuine passion for working with children
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Full time availability within school hours

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
