Are you a Learning Support Assistant looking for a new and exciting role in education?

Do you have experience working with children with special educational needs?

One of our partner schools in South Manchester are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join their team!

In this role, you will be supporting students with a variety of complex additional needs and help them to achieve their learning goals.

In this role as a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

  • Support the class teacher in the delivery of engaging lessons and creative activities.
  • Build relationships with students and staff
  • Create a safe and fun learning environment for children
  • Encourage expected behavior and act as a role model for children

The ideal Learning Support Assistant, will have:

  • Experience working with children with SEN in an education or care setting (desirable)
  • A calm and patient manner.  
  • Personal care, moving and handling and BSL experience (desirable)
  • Sensitivity and understanding.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
