Position: Learning Support Assistant.

Location: Blackburn, Lancashire (Secondary school).

Start date: Monday 3rd June 2024.

Contract length: Part-time, four days (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday) initially until October 2024.

Purpose of the role:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a key role in creating the conditions for pupils with SEN and most vulnerable pupils to be successful and achieve their full potential at school.

You will be required to:

You will also provide support for the school on the whole by contributing to the overall ethos and culture, participating in the wider life of school and assisting with the supervision of pupils outside of lesson times, including during lunch time occasionally. It is essential the successful candidate is able to maintain good relationships with colleagues and can work as part of a team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
