Key Responsibilities:

• Providing one-on-one and group support to students, ensuring they receive the attention and assistance they need to thrive.
• Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
• Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
• Supporting students with special educational needs and adapting resources to meet their individual needs.
• A passion for supporting others through education and training.
• Monitoring the safeguarding of pupils.

Requirements of working as a Learning Support Assistant:

• Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar role is desirable.
• A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their educational development.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• An enhanced DBS certificate and the right to work in the UK.
• A Cache / NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning is desireable.
• Six months or more experience working within a classroom setting.
