We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Rochdale.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young people and making a positive impact within education. The successful candidate will work closely with students, teachers, and the SEN department to help pupils achieve their full potential both academically and personally.

  • Supporting students in lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Providing one-to-one and small group support where required
  • Assisting students with additional learning needs
  • Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Supporting classroom teachers with lesson activities and behaviour management
  • Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable
  • A patient, caring, and adaptable approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Passionate about supporting student development and wellbeing
  • Experience supporting SEN students is beneficial but not essential
  • A welcoming and supportive school environment
  • Friendly and experienced staff team
  • Ongoing training and development opportunities
