Job Responsibilities as a Psychology Graduate
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support to students with a range of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, social communication difficulties, emotional needs, and behavioural challenges.
- Build positive and trusting relationships with students, helping them feel safe, supported, and confident within the school environment.
- Support students with their emotional regulation, social skills, communication, confidence, and engagement with learning.
- Use your understanding of psychology and child development to help implement individualised support strategies.
What We're Looking for in a Psychology Graduate
- Psychology degree or a related degree.
- A genuine interest in child development, mental health, behaviour, and SEN.
- Compassionate and empathetic - able to understand and respond sensitively to the individual needs of young people.
- Patient and resilient - able to remain calm and supportive when students are experiencing challenging emotions or behaviours.
