Role Overview:
As a Science Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the teaching and learning of Science across the school. Your responsibilities will include:
Classroom Support: Assisting Science teachers in delivering engaging and interactive lessons, providing one-to-one support to students who may require additional help, and ensuring that all pupils are able to access the Science curriculum effectively.
Practical Demonstrations: Assisting with practical experiments and demonstrations in the Science laboratory, ensuring that equipment and materials are prepared and set up correctly, and providing guidance and support to students during experiments.
Resource Creation: Collaborating with teachers to create and prepare teaching resources, including worksheets, diagrams, and practical activities, to enhance the learning experience and cater to the diverse needs of students.
Assessment and Feedback: Supporting teachers in assessing student progress and achievement, marking and providing feedback on Science assignments and coursework, and tracking student performance over time.
Extra-Curricular Activities: Assisting with Science-related extra-curricular activities and clubs, such as Science fairs, STEM workshops, and field trips, to enrich students' understanding and appreciation of Science outside the classroom.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
