Secondary SEN School | Trafford | Full-Time | Immediate Start | Teaching Personnel

Are you passionate about supporting young people with additional needs? Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Inclusion Support Mentor to join a specialist Secondary SEN school in the Trafford area. You will support pupils aged 11-16 with a range of needs including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, Speech & Language Difficulties, Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), and associated behavioural needs, helping them access education and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN.
• Build positive relationships and act as a consistent role model.
• Support learners with emotional regulation, behaviour, and social development.
• Encourage engagement in lessons and school activities.
• Work closely with teachers and the wider SEN team to implement support strategies.
• Monitor and record pupil progress and wellbeing.

Requirements

• Experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable individuals.
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
• Patient, resilient, and empathetic approach.
• Background in education, youth work, care, coaching, or support work is desirable.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
