£80 - £90 Per day

  • Provide support to secondary school students with special educational needs (SEN) in the classroom
  • Assist the class teacher in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) for students
  • Help create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students
  • Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to reinforce learning concepts
  • Support students with emotional or behavioural issues to promote positive behaviour
  • Assist with classroom management and organisation
  • Experience working with children or young adults with special educational needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths

Prior experience in a similar role is desirable

  • Understanding of different types of special educational needs and how to support them
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of students
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
  • Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Training in safeguarding and first aid

This role involves working within a secondary school setting, supporting students with special educational needs. The work may be challenging at times but ultimately rewarding in helping students achieve their full potential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
