Are you a passionate and dedicated Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) looking for a rewarding role within a specialist SEN School?  If so, we have a number of wonderful SEN Specialist schools looking for staff to start ASAP!

Position: Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA)
Location: Southwark & Lewisham, Deptford London
Start Date: April/May 2024
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm
Term: Term time only, until July 2024 (Permanent contract available)
Daily Rate: £88 - £110 per day (PAYE, based on experience)

About the Role: As a SEN TA, you will play a crucial role in supporting the inclusion and development of students with special educational needs within a Primary or Secondary SEN school. You will have the opportunity to support students with ASD, SEMH, PMLD, MLD, SLD and we have roles supporting children with Pupil Referral Units (Pru’s).

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a SEN TA is highly desirable.
  • Graduates with a Psychology or other Education degree are welcome to apply.
  • A passion for supporting the development and inclusion of students with special educational needs.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in special education.
