  • Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) in their learning and development
  • Assisting the class teacher in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) for students
  • Providing one-to-one support for students as required
  • Helping to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support
  • GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent qualifications)
  • Relevant experience working with children with special educational needs

Minimum of GCSE level education

Prior experience working in a school or educational setting

  • Understanding of special educational needs and different learning styles
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Additional training in supporting students with SEN

This role involves working in a school environment, supporting students with special educational needs. The working hours are typically full-time during school term times. The role may require some flexibility in hours and tasks to best support the needs of the students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
