£80 - £90 per day.

  • Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in their learning and development.
  • Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored lessons to meet individual needs.
  • Providing one-to-one support to students with SEN to help them access the curriculum.
  • Assisting with behaviour management and implementing strategies to support students with SEN.
  • Collaborating with other staff members and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
  • Relevant experience working with children or young people with SEN.
  • Understanding of different learning needs and the ability to adapt support accordingly.

Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.

Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN.

  • Knowledge of SEN support strategies and interventions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards supporting students with SEN.
  • Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools.
  • Training in behaviour management techniques.

The role may involve working in a classroom setting within an educational institution. You may need to provide support to students with varying levels of SEN, which could include physical, emotional, or learning difficulties. The job may require flexibility in working hours and the ability to adapt to the changing needs of students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
