  • Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in their learning and development
  • Assisting classroom teachers in implementing individual education plans
  • Providing one-to-one support to students with SEN
  • Helping students with personal care, if required
  • Assisting in creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment

Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths

Relevant teaching assistant qualification or willingness to work towards one

Experience working with children or individuals with SEN

  • Understanding of SEN and the impact on learning
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Patience and empathy in supporting students with SEN

First Aid certification

  • Working in a school setting
  • Potential exposure to challenging behaviours
  • Regular interaction with students, teachers, and parents

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
