  • Provide support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in the classroom setting.
  • Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students.
  • Work closely with teachers to support the learning and development of SEN students.
  • Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
  • Provide feedback to teachers on student progress and behaviour.
  • Minimum of GCSE qualifications in English and Maths.
  • Previous experience working with children or young adults with SEN.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

GCSE qualifications in English and Maths are required.

Prior experience working with students with SEN is essential.

  • Understanding of various SEN conditions and how they may impact learning.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with teachers, parents, and external professionals.
  • Further qualifications in Special Education or related field.
  • Training in behaviour management techniques.

This role involves working within a school environment, collaborating with teachers and other support staff. It may require occasional participation in meetings with parents and external professionals.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
