  • Supporting the educational, social, and emotional development of students with special educational needs (SEN)
  • Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored lessons for SEN students
  • Providing one-to-one support to students with SEN to help them achieve their learning goals
  • Helping to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students
  • Assisting with the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies
  • Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Relevant experience working with children or individuals with SEN
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)

Prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role

  • Understanding of special educational needs and different learning styles
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Patience, empathy, and compassion when working with students with SEN

Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification

The role may involve working within a classroom setting, providing support to students with varying levels of SEN. It may also require occasional participation in meetings with parents, teachers, and SEN coordinators to discuss student progress and development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
