Supply Desk is recruiting for a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join a specialist or inclusive school in the Chichester area.

You’ll deliver engaging, accessible lessons tailored to individual needs, while working closely with experienced support staff and the wider SEND team to create a calm, structured and positive learning environment.

• Plan and deliver engaging, personalised lessons

• Teach pupils with a range of special educational needs and additional needs

• Adapt teaching, resources and activities to meet individual abilities and EHCP outcomes

• Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils

• Promote independence, confidence and resilience

• Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching to support development

• Create a safe, inclusive and engaging classroom environment

• Work closely with TAs, SENCOs and other professionals

• Contribute to individual learning plans and wider SEND provision

• Promote high standards of safeguarding and pupil wellbeing

• QTS or a recognised equivalent teaching qualification

• Experience working with pupils with SEN is desirable

• Strong understanding of adaptive and inclusive teaching

• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

• Patient, nurturing and flexible approach

• Ability to adapt teaching to meet individual needs

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs

• DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
