Salary: £80 - £90 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Assess students' abilities and progress, and provide feedback to parents and support staff
  • Develop individualised education plans and adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the social, emotional, and academic development of students
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support the holistic development of students with SEN

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
  • Experience working with students with SEN
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practises in SEN education

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching students with SEN

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet individual student needs
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Empathy and understanding of the diverse needs of students with SEN

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Special Education Needs (SEN)
  • Training in specific interventions for students with SEN

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a classroom setting within a school for students with SEN
  • Full-time hours, temporary position
  • Collaborative work environment with other teachers and support staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
