  • Plan, organise, and deliver engaging sports coaching sessions
  • Assess participants' skills and provide feedback for improvement
  • Create tailored training programmes to meet individual and team objectives
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all participants
  • Monitor and track progress of participants throughout the coaching programme
  • Collaborate with other coaches and staff to ensure effective delivery of coaching sessions
  • Recognised coaching qualification in a relevant sport
  • Valid First Aid certification
  • Enhanced DBS check

Minimum of GCSEs or equivalent qualification

Prior experience in coaching sports, preferably within an educational setting

  • Strong understanding of sports coaching principles and techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire participants
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Additional coaching certifications
  • Experience working with diverse groups of participants
  • Work primarily in indoor and outdoor sports facilities
  • May require evening and weekend work to accommodate participants' schedules
  • Physical demands including standing for long periods and demonstrating sports techniques

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
