The Role:

As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will provide valuable support to pupils and teaching staff in a range of educational settings. No two days will be the same, as you'll have the opportunity to work with different age groups, support a variety of learning needs, and gain experience in a range of schools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support pupils on a one-to-one basis, in small groups, or within whole-class activities.
• Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
• Support pupils with SEND, SEMH needs, or additional learning requirements where needed.
• Encourage positive behaviour and engagement with learning.
• Help create a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
• Adapt quickly to different classroom settings and school routines.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience working with children or young people in an educational, childcare, coaching, care, or support setting is desirable.
• A positive, flexible, and proactive attitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• The ability to build rapport quickly with pupils and staff.
• Confidence supporting learning and managing behaviour positively.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
